Minister for Higher Education, Technical Education and Tribal Affairs, Temjen Imna Along and Advisor for Water Resource Department, Namri Nchang who are in charge of Peren district for prevention of COVID-19 visited Tening on 9th April, 2020.

Minister, Temjen Imna Along and Advisor Namri Nchang briefed the government officials and public for precautionary measures for COVID-19. After exhorting the people they inspected the hospital and offices located in Tening.

During the tour, the Minister and Advisor were accompanied by Deputy Commissioner, Sentiwapang Aier and Chief Medical Officer, Peren. Free distribution of mask to the people and interaction were the highlights of the visit.
