Under the initiative of the District Administration and District Task Force (DTF) for COVID-19 two (2) NST buses were arranged yesterday the 7th May 2020 for transporting 37 stranded migrant workers bound for Assam were dropped till Dimapur.

Later in the day 76 students, elderly persons and government employees from Kohima reached Wokha in 3 buses and 72 persons from Dimapur were safety transported to Wokha.
On 8th May 2020, 21 persons were sent to Dimapur, and arrangement is being made to transport 13 more passengers bound for Tuensang, Mokokchung and Tobu today. The District administration is also arranging for transporting passengers to Dimapur and Mon on 9th May 2020.
