Addressing the gathering, Rahul Sutliya, District Youth Officer, MY Bharat Mon, delivered an orientation on the Mera Yuva Bharat Portal (MY Bharat). He highlighted that the portal serves as a single-window platform connecting young people aged 15–29 years with opportunities in volunteering, internships, skill development, scholarships, competitions and nation- building initiatives. He encouraged all eligible youths to register on the portal and actively participate in various programmes to enhance their skills, build their profiles and contribute towards the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
A series of cultural competitions and performances including Folk Song, Drama, Music, Speech, Poem, Slogan Writing, Reel Making and Painting, took place through which participants showcased their creativity and delivered strong anti-substance abuse messages. The formal program concluded with the declaration of competition results and a prize distribution ceremony honouring the finest performances of the day.
While delivering the vote of thanks, Sutliya led all attendees in administering the Nasha Mukt Bharat Pledge, wherein participants solemnly vowed against the use of drugs and intoxicants, committing instead to a healthy and disciplined lifestyle in pursuit of a drug-free nation. Further, the Nasha Mukt program was followed by a Swachhata Pakhwada rally. Youth volunteers and citizens marched from the Council Hall to Yuching Village Local Ground, raising cleanliness awareness and culminated in the administration of the Swachhata Pledge.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from hundreds of young people, students, local leaders, and community members, all converging to champion the cause of a drug-free society and environmental stewardship. The program commenced with an invocation prayer led by Yuching Baptist Church, Pastor Henyei, followed by a welcome address delivered by Mr. Khojun, Vice President of the Yuching Students' Union and ended with with a benediction delivered by Mr. Samuel, Associate Pastor for Youth.
