The DC & DEO Kohima in a press release stated that the Election Commission of India through its Press Note NO.ECI/PN/1/2023 has announced the schedule for the conduct of General Elections to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly. 

Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Phek, Kumar Ramnikant IAS in a notification notified that because of the forthcoming General Election to 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly, 2023, all Arms license holders under Phek District have been directed to deposit their Arms license along with Arms/Weapons at the nearest Police Station as per the address given in the license on or before 31st January 2023.

In pursuance of the conduct of the General Election to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023, a meeting on the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) and instructions issued by the Election Commission of India for all the recognized political parties and media under Longleng district is scheduled on 20th January 2023 at DC conference hall at 12 noon.
