DC MON NOTIFIES ON PURCHASE OF ESSENTIAL COMMODITIES

Deputy Commissioner, Mon issued an order in modification of this office order No.GA/DEV/COVID-19/2020/216/Dated 27th of March 2020, the following regulations are hereby imposed for purchase of essential commodities in Mon Town with effect from 6th April 2020 till further orders.

STATE ROUNDUP ON COVID-19

Abhijit Sinha, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government of Nagaland issued the report on Law & Order and facilitation of essential Goods & Services for the 5th of April 2020. According to the report, 3 violations of the lockdown were reported. 6 persons were bound down and Rs 1500 has been imposed as fine. No law and order incidents have been reported in the State.

UTILIZATION OF SERVICE OF VOLUNTEERS

Home Commissioner, Abhijit Sinha, has called for the utilization of the service of volunteers trained under the Aapda Mitra Scheme for the containment of COVID-19. In view of the gravity and magnitude of the challenge emerging from the COVID-19 pandemic, he suggested to consider utilizing the service of the volunteers.
