On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Addl. Chief Secretary & Chief Resident Commissioner along with officers and staff of Nagaland House, New Delhi planted around 200 (two hundred) tree saplings of different varieties at Nagaland House, 29, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Road, New Delhi on 8th of June, 2021.
The ACS & CRC spoke on the importance of World Environment Day and in creating awareness among the people and also restoration of the ecosystems around the world for the benefit of people and nature. All the officers and staff planted tree saplings to mark the occasion.
The ACS & CRC thanked the contribution of Director of Intanki National Park, Nagaland, Ao Chuba, IFS, and DFO of West Delhi Navneet, IFS, for donating the tree saplings for the same.
