Police Headquarter, Kohima, Nagaland will be organizing a National Flag Rally Race to commemorate the 75thAnniversary of Indian Independence as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration on 14thAugust 2021. The rally race is scheduled to start at 06:00 AM from Secretariat Plaza and culminate near PHQ, Kohima and it will be followed by a celebratory programme at PHQ main lobby.

The celebratory programme will be held at 08:00 AM at PHQ main lobby. The programme will be chaired by AIGP (Prov), Temjensenla Jamir, NPS. On arrival of Director General of Police, Nagaland, the National Anthem will be played by the DGP Band. Invocation will be pronounced by Pastor, PUBC, Rev. V Rakho.

            IGP (Range), Limasunep Jamir, IPS will deliver the welcome address while Mahila Band will perform a special song, Vande Mataram. A speech will be delivered by DGP, Nagaland, T John Longkumer.

It will be followed by entertainment by the DGP Band and Mahila Band.
