Niuland District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) Meeting was held on 28th September 2026 at DC’s Conference Hall, Niuland.

Deputy Commissioner, Niuland, T. L Kiusumong Tikhir, while chairing the meeting, said that if a country is to transform then reform should first take place in the grassroot level and reminded the members that comprehensive and impactful reforms should take place in the district and urge all the concerned officers to make sure that all the villages in the district be involved in the reform campaign. He also reminded all the officers to actively participate in the campaign and to bring out their respective department's detail reform plan.

EAC Niuland, Neisiezo Theunuo, District Nodal officer for Utsav Reform, gave a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation and outline the detailed planning and coordinating among the various departments in reaching out to all the Villages in the district.

Theunuo, while highlighting the aims and objectives of the campaign said Reform Utsav is to involve citizens in governance and turn their suggestions into practical reforms that will improve government services.

The reform Utsav is to be officially launch on 2nd October 2026.
