The Nkio Village Students Unions celebrated its Silver Jubilee under the theme, ''Strive for Brighter Future '' on 17th December 2021 at GMS campus Old Nkio Village, under Tening Sub-Division with Advisor for Water Resource, Namri Nchang as the special guest.
The Advisor unveiled the Jubilee Monolith while dedication was done by Rev. Hairei Pame. The official pragram began with an invocation pronounced by Ariebo, Executive Secretary, ZBA (N) Centre Nsong.
Namri Nchang urged the students community to confidently face the challenges that comes their way since they are living in a competitive world
He called upon the members present to embrace peace, harmony and kindness and with renewed spirit the people from the village should achieve more success. He said hardwork, dedication and determination are the essence of a successful life and urged the students to strive for excellence for a brighter future. Namri mentioned that the students have to play in conserving the rich flora and fauna of the village.
The programe was compered by Obed Newme and Kisamzaile while Presidential Address and concluding remark was delivered by President Nkio Students Union, Dr. Pauzieleubo and Dr. Kubamleubo. Short speeches were delivered by Kunamyi, Akubo and Namzierangbo. The pragram ended with a benediction pronounced by pastor Old Nkio Village, Baptist Church, Pakai.
