The office of Additional Deputy Commissioner Pungro led by EAC Pungro bade farewell to the outgoing Additional Deputy Commissioner Pungro, Vekusheyi Rhakho, NCS at ADC’s office, Pungro, Kiphire on 7th August 2024.

The outgoing ADC, Vekusheyi Rhakho, NCS extended his heartfelt gratitude to all the officers and staff, led by EAC Pungro, UDA  & Head DB, for being with him through thick and thin. He praised the EAC, Yithachu Thur and UDA, Kikhumong for their sincerity, dedication, pro-activeness and professionalism and all the Staff for sincerely dispensing their respective assignments. He also stated that whatever has been achieved during his tenure is through the cooperation & support of everyone despite shortage of staff in the office. 

Rhakho mentioned how he enjoyed his stay and developed a sense belonging with the place and the people and added that he will be leaving the place with fond memories. He encouraged them to continue their good works and continue to support the incoming ADC for the welfare of the community.

EAC Pungro Yithachu Thur, NCS; Shito, Head DB and Kikhumong, UDA spoke at the program. The speakers shared their experiences working with the outgoing ADC and testified the good works done by him at Pungro and sub-division during his tenure. They also acknowledged and appreciated his qualities as a matured, sincere and dedicated administrator. 

EAC Pungro, Yithachu Thur who chaired the programme spoke of his experiences working with the outgoing ADC and how he has gained professionally and personally out of it. He spoke highly of his professionalism, his knowledge of rules, decision making and the love, concern and respect he for his sub-ordinate officers and staff.
