MLA, Naiba Konyak unfurled the Tri-colour Flag and delivered the 78th Independence Day speech at Tobu Sub-Division on 15th August 2024.
The 6 (Six) contingents comprising of 6th NAP B 'COY Tobu, Village Guards Tobu Village, Newman HSS Tobu, Government HR. Sec. School Tobu, Bejing High School Tobu boys & Girls participated at the celebration.
Special song was presented by KNSK (Konyak Nyupuh Soko Kong) Tobu Town and Traditional Folk song by Aoleang Group Tobu Town (Men). National Anthem was sung by Newman HR. Sec. School Tobu followed by inauguration & exhibition of stalls organised by the Department of Agriculture, Tobu Sub-Division.
Later on, A Football Match Exhibition was played between ADC 11 VS Sey-Ong Club Tobu.
