Government Middle School Nzau, Tening, Peren, celebrated Teacher’s Day, coinciding
with one of the outgoing teacher Sizanpi on 5 th Sept. 2024.
On this special day, Head Teacher, Thiulengsipi extended gratitude to the teachers for the
yeoman service imparted diligently to the students’ community. He lauded the teachers for all
the sacrifices made in moulding and shaping the life of younger generation. Notably, he also
thanked the outgoing teacher for being not only a guide to students but also a mentor to the
fellow colleagues as well.
Sizanpi the outgoing teacher in his speech navigated the old memories he had with all the
teachers and students and further encouraged to carry forward the same spirit of oneness
in educating the young minds.
The program began with a prayer pronounced by  Alungpi, speech on behalf of School
was delivered by Thiulengpi, Head Teacher. A melodious music was presented by Assistant
Teacher Peramsidinbo, while choreography was performed by pre-primary and upper section
Students, and Kedalakbo delivered the vote of thanks.
The event was attended by parents and village elders alongside with teachers and students
community.
