The full text is as follows :

“As on today, the total number of positive cases in the State stands at 371. Out of this, the total active cases are 209, and 162 have recovered. All the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals.

As per the severity of symptoms, 204 active cases are asymptomatic and 5 active cases are mild symptomatic cases.

As per the distribution of the 371 cases by age, there are 4 cases between 0-17 years, 353 cases between 18-44 years, 12 cases between 45-64 years and 2 cases between 65-74 years. As per the distribution of gender, there are 265 males and 106 females

Till date, a total of 11,060 samples have been tested and out of this, 7,683 samples have been received at the BSL-3 lab at the Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK). Out if this 7,683, a total of 6,588 samples have been tested and 312 samples have tested positive.

In addition a total of 3,971 samples have been tested by Truenat, out of which 70 samples tested positive and sent for confirmation by RT-PCR. 3,417 samples have tested negative.

A total of 5,960 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.
