KMC Administrator, Kovi Meyase has informed that there has been an instances of transmission of Corona Virus through wet market and slaughter houses especially those dealing with fresh meat, poultry and raw fishes in other parts of the world.

Henceforth, with a view to contained possible transmission and spread of the virus through such market. He has directed all the wet markets and slaughter houses within the jurisdiction of KMC to collect all the waste or fluid in a proper designated place and sanitize the same. They are also asked to operate as per the FSSAI guidelines 

Any traders violating the norms or guidelines will be penalized as mentioned below:

1. Rs. 500/- first instance. 
2. Rs. 1000/- Second instance 
3. Cancellation of Trade License.
