The Mass Social Work organized in connection with the forthcoming 80th Independence Day Celebration was successfully carried out on 13th August 2026 at Wokha district. Government Officers and staff, Councillors, Chairmen, Gaon Buras (GBs), and residents from different wards and colonies actively took part in the social work activities. The initiative, directed by the Deputy Commissioner, Wokha, saw coordinated efforts across offices and localities. Heads of Offices ensured the participation of their staff, while Councillors, Chairmen, and GBs mobilized residents to contribute towards the collective work. The social work brought together officials and citizens in a united effort, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for the upcoming Independence Day celebration.
