The National Tobacco Control Program (NTCP), Phek along with the block enforcement Squad consisting of the district administration led by EAC Chozuba, Dr Cthitu Nienu, Dobashis, CTC, CTWWS, CTCSU, CTYS and Police personnel carried out an enforcement drive near educational institutions at Chozuba town on 8th September, 2026.

During the conduct, 20 shops found violating were penalised under section 6(b) of COTPA 2003 (Prohibition of Sale of Tobacco Products to Minors or by Minors).
