John Tsulise Sangtam, NCS, Secretary, Nagaland Public Service Commission has notified that speed test in shorthand for stenographer and speed test in typewriting for typist will be conducted by the commission . It may be noted that irrespective of the number of years a regular and confirmed Stenographer has served in a particular grade, they may apply to appear the speed test for the next higher grade.

Therefore the appointing authority may nominate regular employees who are confirmed in service to appear for speed test on or before 21/11/2020. The nomination letters of the employees should invariably be supported by their appointment, regularization and confirmation orders.

The list of eligible candidates shall be displayed on the Commission’s Notice Board and Website after 2:00 pm on 27/11/2020. The Exam dates have been re-scheduled to 03/12/2020 and 04/12/2020 for Stenographers and Typists respectively.
