On the fourth day of the seventh session of the thirteenth Legislative Assembly, Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio moved for consideration and Adopted of Assembly resolution, on 18th February, 2019.

            It was decided by the August House that it will endorse  and reiterate all the past resolution of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly on the Indo-Naga political issue, and resolve to work unitedly in facilitating the Indo- Naga political negotiations. The August House appreciated the continued efforts made by the Government of the Union of India to resolve the Indo- Naga political issue through peaceful means by upholding the Naga political talks. Further, the August House acknowledged and appreciated the efforts made by all Naga political groups, political parties, civil society organization, the churches and NGO's towards finding a peaceful resolution of the Indo- Naga political issues and appealed all to come together for larger interest of the Naga people. It also urged, the Government of the Union of India and the Naga political groups to sit across the table for the conclusion of the political negotiation that is honourable, inclusive and acceptable to the people as “One Solution” without any further delay.                                                                                                                                                  (Wepre, Tovikali & Nouneseno)
