In Longleng town distribution of essential commodities by the district administration and civil societies to the poor and wage earners is still underway since three days and would be completed within few days. While in Tamlu Sub-division the district administration and the Sub-divisional Task Force on COVID-19, Tamlu division also distributed essential commodities to 23 migrant labourers and 78 local wage earners today.

The Sakhi One Stop Center and Bati Bachao Bati Badhao (BBBP) in collaboration with the district administration, Longleng also visited old aged people and widowed household on Sunday and distributed free ration, masks and sanitary pads for the young female in these targeted households.

The Housing department, Longleng started construction of temporary toilets for the Coronavirus patients today at the Quarantine makeshift located at Lempong School, Longleng.
