A total of 14 persons tested positive out of 57 samples collected during the random sampling and testing exercise conducted by Kohima District Task Force (DTF) on COVID-19. This was informed by Chief Medical Officer Kohima, Dr. Vezokholu Theyo on 30th April 2021. 

To test the prevalence of the covid virus among the public in Kohima, the exercise was conducted at three locations AG colony, Para-Medical and Ministers’ Hill Kohima on 28th and 29th April 2021 where the random samples were collected from among the public.
