Deputy Commissioner and Chairman, District Task Force COVID - 19, Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS issued an order on 11th July, 2021 stating that the existing lockdown measures shall remain in force in the district of Tuensang with the following additional relaxation with effect from 12th July to 17th July, 2021:
- Shops /business establishments of essential nature shall be allowed to open from 6:00AM to 4:00PM on all days.
- Shops /business establishments of non-essential nature shall be allowed to open from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM on alternative days as per the schedule prepared by the respective Town Council of the district. Takeaways, Home delivery and other e-commerce services will be permitted to open /operate on all days.
- Outdoor sports activities other than competitions will be permitted, subject to attendance of not more than 100 persons and adherence of COVID - 19 appropriate behaviour and all the applicable SOPs issued from time to time.
- Inter-District movement is allowed subject to the person (s) being asymptomatic and having completed their COVID-19 vaccination (both doses taken) and subject to adherence to COVID - 19 appropriate behaviour.
- Bus service, intra and inter-District taxi service and pillion riding on two-wheeler shall continue to remain suspended.
- All movement of persons /vehicles except medical emergencies and those under exempted category shall continue to remain restricted from 7:00 Pm to 4:00 AM.
Any person found in violation of the order shall be penalised as per the relevant provisions of Law besides legal action under Section 188 of IPC.
