The Nagaland State Biodiversity Board will be celebrating the International Day for Biological Diversity under the theme “Building a Shared Future for All Life” on 20th May 2022 at RCEMPA Hall, Jotsoma, Kohima. During the function, the revised Nagaland State Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NSBSAP) document will be formally released which will be followed by a Technical session(s) on the NSBSAP and a panel discussion under the theme "Transforming Nagaland Biodiversity Strategy Action Plan into Action''. Representatives from the Rajya Sabha, Forest Minister/Forest Department/ State Biodiversity Board of Nagaland and from neighboring States, representatives from the German Embassy, Ministry of Development of the North Eastern Region, National Biodiversity Authority, Zoological Survey of India, Botanical Survey of India, Universities, and all the Organizations/Government Departments/ Institutions/ Biodiversity Management Committee (BMC) other local bodies will be involved in the formulation of NSBSAP.
