Addl. Superintendent of Police & PRO Mokokcung through a release has informed that on 22/05/22 one person namely Lipokakum T Ao S/O Lt. Dr. C. Tarep of Mopungchuket village and presently a resident of Kher Mahal Dimapur was arrested by Mokokchung police personnel for possessing of illegal suspected brown sugar (approx.27gms). In this connection, a case was registered at MKG PS-I. Another person was arrested on 26-05-22 while conducting surprised checking at Mokokchung – Tuensang road and intercepted a night bus. On checking police recovered 2 soap cases containing suspected brown sugar (approx.25.68 gms) from the possession of Ronglila (36ysr) D/O Thsadongba of Kiding village under Tuensang district. Case has been registered at MKG PS-II.again on 27-05-22 Mokokchung police personnel intercepted a vehicle (truck) near Alichen Mokokchungand recovered 15 cases of MC Rum and 3 cases of beer. Accordingly the driver of the vehicle, Babu Mudi S/O Puna Mudi PO/PS-Chingajan Dist-Golaghat Assam. In this connection a case was registered at MKG PS-II.
