            The Noklak District Films, released and screened four videos which were documented by Documentary film maker, Chentei Khiamniungan and Tourism Incharge Noklak District, P. Shingnya at the Red Cross Complex, Kohima on 13th April 2021.

            Deputy Commissioner of Noklak, Reny Wilfred who spoke during the occasion said these films are based on the perspective of tourism, conservation of bio-diversity in the district and the preserving the rich cultural heritage of the people in Noklak district. He also said the documentary videos are not for monetary aspect but to show case the rich potentials of the district in the field of tourism, market for handicrafts, agricultural produces etc.

            The four videos released during the function were ‘The Cave’ released by Advisor, Fisheries & Aquatic Resources, Evaluation, Economic & Statistics, L. Khumo. ‘Choklangan Village’ released by   NPSC Member, S. Chonta ‘Wui Village’ released by Joint Secretary, Agriculture, Tainiu and ‘Langnok Village’ released by Pheniang, P.S. to H. Haiying, Advisor, Prisons, Printing & Stationery.

            A panel discussion hosted by P. Shingnyu with Advisor, Fisheries & Aquatic Resources, Evaluation, Economic & Statistics, L. Khumo, Deputy Commissioner of Noklak, Reny Wilfred, NPSC Member, S. Chonta Joint Secretary, Agriculture, Tainiu and Pheniang, P.S. to  H. Haiying, Advisor, Prisons, Printing & Stationery was also held.

            The programme was chaired by Heme while the vote of thanks was proposed by Documentary film maker, Chentei Khiamniungan.
