District Task Force on COVID-19 meeting was held at DC’s Conference Hall under the chairmanship of DC & Chairman DTF Noklak, Hiazu Meru on 12th January 2022.

DC stated that due to the rapid surge in COVID-19 cases in the country and with the detection of the variant of concern, omicron and indicating the arrival of the third wave of Covid-19, the District Task Force had to reactivate COVID-19 control room and all COVID-19 related arrangements in the district.

The house has decided to cover all eligible persons for COVID-19 Vaccination and deliberately discussed for vaccination of Covid-19 to persons from 15-18 years of age in the district.

The house also elaborated on the order and SOPs issued by the Home department which will be strictly enforced in the district.
