Sport like Archery was used for hunting. Even in the olden Naga Society, sports was a means of bringing people from different communities together. He also said there was no back door appointment or political influence in sports and any person who has the determination and willingness to strive for the best would reach the top, however, there were also no shortcuts in the field of sports. Metha also proclaimed that the government was coming up with six indoor stadiums across the state where the first one in Chumoukedima will soon be inaugurated.
