Wokha District Administration organized a one day seminar on job placement and oversees job vacancies on 11th March 2021 at Tiyi Hall, Wokha in collaboration with the Emporium Skills Training Institute Dimapur, with Anirban Mukherjee, Operations Manager, India & International-Emporium as the resource person.

            Emporium Skills Training Institute is registered under Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, National Skills Development Corporation, Government of India for Aviation, Hospitality & Cruise-Line Sector.

            Mukherjee, while highlighting about their institute said that, their institute is empanelled with 13 state governments in India & 3 neighboring countries, best faculty team with great industry experience. State of the art infrastructure & FREE TRAINING under PMKVY scheme. He also stated that they were awarded as the best vocational training institute by the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship for aviation & hospitality placements, also placed more than 7000 Naga Youths & over 35000 students globally.             Speaking on Job role - salaries & benefits, Job Role – Hospitality (F&B Service), Mukherjee added 3 Months duration is offered location – Dimapur (Non Residential) and minimum starting salary after successful completion of course & certification – Rs.13000-Rs.15000/- + Free Accommodation, On Duty Meals & all other statutory benefits like PF, Gratuity, ESI etc.

            Job Role – Aviation (Cabin Crew) & Cruises- Duration – 3 Months, Location – Dimapur (Non Residential). Minimum starting salary after successful completion of course & certification – Rs.35000/- - Rs.50,000/&all other statutory benefits like PF, Gratuity, ESI etc. placements in all five star luxury hotels, international/domestic airlines & cruises.

            EAC (Hq), Wokha, Imtinungula Longkumer, in her welcome address thanked the team for organizing such kind of event for the students to enlightening the students and disseminating knowledge where she urged the trainees to make best use of the knowledge gained to achieve their goals in life. Anung also stated the training was very informative making the trainees very enriching which she hoped that it will prove to be useful in their future endeavor.

            More than 200 students from different schools and colleges attended the one day skill training.
