PEREN DPDB MEETING

The monthly meeting of the Peren District Planning and Development Board meeting was held on 13th May 2022 at DC's Conference Hall, Peren. The meeting was chaired by Advisor, Water Resources, Namri Nchang who is also the Chairman of DPDB Peren.

After reviewing the minutes of the last meeting, ADC Peren, Keyirangding Hegui informed the different activities that were conducted in the month of April by various departments as part of the pre-celebration programme of Peren Town 75th Year Anniversary. Further, he also highlighted the action plans to be undertaken in the days to come.

Meanwhile, stickers on Peren Town 75th Anniversary Celebration were also distributed to all the board members.

In the meeting, DPRO Peren, Gaizam Moses also informed the house that Advisor, Namri Nchang has donated a sum of Rs. 1 Lakh 50 Thousand for the up-gradation of the PA System in the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner Office, Peren. In this regard, he assured that the installation will be completed by the end of this month.

Regarding the agenda on the dilapidated condition of Samziuram bridge & movement of heavily loaded vehicles on village roads of Peren which was proposed by EE PWD (R&B) Peren, DC Peren, Sentiwapang Aier said a fresh order shall be issued in regard to the same.

Advisor, Water Resources, Namri Nchang in his concluding remarks expressed his gratitude to DC Peren and DPDB members for sharing their views and ideas for the betterment and development of the district and further acknowledged them for working actively for the welfare of the district. Namri Nchang also appealed to the HODs of various departments posted in Peren to be sincere and regular in their respective place of posting. 

For the next meeting, ADC Hq. Peren and the Fishery Department were entrusted to present a PowerPoint presentation.
