The Phek District Inter-Departmental Tournament 2022 ended at badminton stadium, Phek on 30th April 2022 with the Phek Superintendent of Police, Besupra Kezo graced as the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, he said he is very excited to have such a type of tournament among different offices where we create cordial relationships.
Sports and games teach us many good discipline and manners where we need to maintain a good spirit because community entertainment is very important.
The result of the winners in different categories are as follows; in badminton:-Men's double 1st- Vevosa Khamo & Puisau Hau (Nazupfu team) & 2nd- Solo Lorin & Dr. Nutazo Lohe (Lanye team).
Women’s double: 1st- Khosalu Keyho & Nuvotalu Thira & 2nd Azenuo Mere & Neitsote-u Ritse (Dzudu Team), Mixed Double: 1st – Setichem Sangtam & Cizokholu Rhakho(Zanibu team), 2nd- Dr. Atoholi & Solo Lorin (Lanyi Team)
In carom board; Men’s double- 1st – Medute Lomi & Vesuto Vero (Shiloi Team), 2nd –Wewulo Tsuhah & Rokosie Agami (Kepamodzu ), Women’s double- 1st- Kethoselu Nienu & Zhovelu Zu-o (Shiloi), 2nd – Azenuo Mere & Khosalu Keyho (Dzudu), Arm-wrestling- Men's- 1st- Diethozo Koza(Nazapfu), 2nd – Phuhuchiyi D. Vadeo (Nazapfu), Women- 1st –Nedevolu Vese (Zaneibu) & 2nd- Thujovelu Vero (Lanye) and in Chess- 1st- Zachivo Chizo (Tizu) and 2nd-Sheto Rhakho. Overall champion goes to Nazupfu Team.
The closing programme was led by Wetsho Lasushe, EAC Phek. The closing remark was said by Dr. Nutazo Lohe, a member of the core committee.
