The Phek District Inter-Departmental Tournament began on 28th April 2022 at Badminton Stadium, Phek with Deputy Commissioner Phek, Razouvolie Dozo, NCS as the special guest of the inaugural programme.

Speaking on the occasion, he stressed on the importance of physical fitness where he said that it refreshes the mind. He called on the participants to develop friendship through the tournament. The DC also declared open the tournament.

The inaugural programme was chaired by SDO (C) and Convener, Core Committee, Samuel Thyug, NCS while welcome address was delivered by Secretary Officers’ Club Phek, Shiekhozo Rhakho. A special song was presented by Sakulu Lohe and oath taking was administered by District Sports Officer Phek, Wutsutho Nyuthe.
