To commemorate the 75th India anniversary, Azadi Ki Amrit Mahotsav, plogging run & cleanliness drive, was celebrated at Kiphire from traffic point to Local ground Kiphire on 2nd October 2021 organised by the NYK Kiphire and supported by District administration Kiphire.

        DC Kiphire T.Wati Aier in his short speech stated that Plogging run & cleanliness drive is celebrating observing the 75th India anniversary Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav as the slogan put up by the Government of India.He urged all the youths and volunteers to work out together whatever assigned duties are being given to them as the work will be carried out till 31st October 2021. The DC also encourage everyone to keep the Kiphire neat and clean and not only Kiphire but wherever we go we should always keep the place clean so that will lead to the development of the society.

         District Youth Coordinator, Kiphire Muletolu Vero stated that plogging run in India was started in the year 2019 on 2nd October. She said that it is a combination of two ideas, body fitness and cleanliness and urged all the participants to observed with our mind and eyes by keeping the District neat and clean.

         Later, Flag off was done by the Deputy Commissioner.
