ADC Jalukie, K. MhathungTsanglao, NCS graced the launching programme of PoshanMaah 2021 held at Kejanglwa Village, Peren on 2nd September, 2021 in the presence of Block CDPOs,DPRO Peren, AWWs, Village Councils, officials from District Mission Management Unit, Block Mission Management Unit, NSRLM, RD Block Jalukie and Peren. The programme was organised by Peren ICDS Project under the Department of Social Welfare.

Addressing the gathering, K. MhathungTsanglao stressed on the greater benefits of planting more plants which have medicinal and nutritional values. He encouraged the gathering for optimum utilisation of available land nearby homes and start practicing organic kitchen garden in order to enhance the nutritional level in our diet. 

The ADC requested the CDPOs and staff from different blocks to work with full commitment for the successful implementation of the month-long celebration programme.

Later, ADC Peren, K. MhathungTsanglao, NCS declared the launch by planting a neem tree at Kejanglwa Village AWC followed with ADC Jalukie, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang, NCS and Dy. CMO Peren, Dr. Lanuakum Jamir.

The programme was chaired by District Poshan Coordinator Asst. Peren, Kukule while short note of PoshanMaah was delivered by DPO Peren, Asangla Jamir.
