The Postal Ballot for the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly Elections 2023 was held on 20th February 2023, Chumoukedima for Preventive detention and 7th NAP (IR) D.Coy.

For the first time postal ballot casting took place for Prevention Detention, at Central Jail, Diphupar, Chumoukedima, where three detainees casted their votes. In the 7th NAP (IR) D.Coy, 60 voters casted their vote.

The Sector Magistrate who supervised the casting of the Postal Ballot was Y. Hutovi Chisho, G.M DIC, and Videographer, Kavito Swu. The Postal Ballot which was held from 9 am to 4 pm ended peacefully.
