To spread a positive message to the general public about the benefits of COVID-19 vaccination and to prevent the spread of false rumours about the vaccine, public leaders and church leaders took vaccination shots at a special camp organized at the Deputy Commissioner’s office, Noklak on 2nd June 2021.The event was organized to send a message that vaccination is safe and the only preventive option available till now in the fight against the COVID-19. 

Church leaders categorically made it clear that there are no religious sanctions on COVID vaccination and dispel rumours that there is no religious issues of any sort associated with the Vaccine. The church leaders encouraged the believers to come forward and avail the facility at the earliest for safety of all. Health department representatives informed that there is no restriction on people with Scrub Typhus or Typhoid from taking vaccination.
