Pughoboto Sub-divisional Planning Board meeting was held with SDPDB Chairman & MLA Y. Vikheho Swu at the DB's Customary Court Hall, Pughoboto on 10th June 2022.

The MLA reviewed the last meeting minutes. He dwelled on the agendum for the posting of veterinary doctor and field assistant to Pughoboto; he said the people depends on the activities of the farmers and encouraged them to rear poultry, piggery, etc. The house agreed to write a letter for the posting of the field staff immediately. Regarding the up-gradation of the full-fledged Pughoboto Town Council tabled in a board meeting, the house discussed the need to study the ground reality, and criteria and urged the Pughoboto Adoc Town Council to take responsibility to speed up the government for the area's development. BDO Ghathashi, Obed Achumi informed the house that the government is strictly monitoring all the activities due to technical upgrades with GIS mapping, therefore, he underlined that people should survey properly and demarcate the boundary to avoid conflicts in the future.

The board also discussed representation submitted from the Asükiqa joint council, which has disallowed the joint council in the subdivision by the SDPDB board in the last meeting and informed that the practice of such joint councils is bound to infringe powers, hence, the board agreed to function normally.

Further, deliberating on the representation that there is no provision to practice the joint council, and for development activities and others, they may convene a joint meeting for the welfare of people.

MLA expressed his gratitude to outgoing SDO Civil Longasen Lotha who was promoted and posted to ADC Tsemenyu for his cooperation and dedication. The outgoing officer Longasen also thanked the MLA and the officers for their support and cooperation.

CDPO Ghathashi, Chiro gave a PowerPoint presentation on the activities and achievements of the social welfare department.
