Pughoboto Sub Division Planning and Development Board meeting was held under the chairmanship of chairman, SDPDB Pughoboto and MLA, Y Vikheho Swu at the DB’s court hall on 23th March 2022.

The house discussed for the change in nomenclature of GPS Ighavito. ADC, Tiameren Chang and his team had visited and discussed with the village people on the issue and the house decided to put up the matter with the concerned authority. Chang stated that after taking charge as the ADC, along with his team, he has visited the main water supply reservoir source and undergoing construction of the tank and had interaction with the village council. He urged the people to give importance on enrolment in all the schools to avoid degradation of the institutions. Regarding the house tax submission and others related matters in Ghathashi block, he informed that he will entrust EAC Ghathashi in the next financial year.

The house decided to schedule the sports meet on 7th & 8th April 2022 where attendance will be made mandatory and has directed to submit the list of names. 

MLA Y. Vikheho Swu acknowledged the ADC for his village tour programmes and interacting with the people to know their problems and grievances. He also urged the young officers to go and work in the interiors places to learn and tackle the problems and difficulties. The MLA also urged the PHE department and ADC to review the water supply in Pughoboto town and also lauded the department for the development of water supply under JJM scheme.

Convenor Of the Pughoboto Departmental Sports Meet, SDO(C) Longasen highlighted on the events to be conducted. New members of Pughoboto SDPDB, SDAO, and MO (Ayush) were introduced and welcomed during the meeting.
