Random sample testing was carried out at Longleng town by the Medical department under the purview of the District Task Force, Longleng on 11th and 12th May 2021. The sample testing was conducted on persons in the following High Risk Groups: (1). Shopkeepers (2). Restaurant/ Hotels (3). Coolie/ Day Labourers (4). Vehicles/ Workshops (5). Bus/ Taxis operator/ Drivers (6). Pharmacies.

A total of 80 random samples were tested out of which eight tested Covid-19 positive. Accordingly, the medical advisories were given to the individuals who tested positive which regard to home isolation.
