Due to the rise of Covid positive cases in the district, the District Task Force has decided to conduct random sample test to all the Shopkeepers for three days. On 11th May 2021, out of 151 samples, four tested positive increasing the total positive cases to 17 cases in the District.

The random test was conducted in the presence of Administration, Medical Team, Police and Chamber of Commerce, Kiphire.
