The district administration of Peren led by Rhosietho Nguori and Tumben P. Tsanglao, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) and Extra Assistant Commissioner (EAC) supplied ration to 19 jobless labourers due to nationwide lockdown at Tening on 8th April, 2020.

The wage workers are from Assam, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh who were stranded in Tening Sub- division.

The workers expressed gratitude for their helping hand when they are all away from their family and home for long time facing untold hardship, lack of comfort and anxiety due to the COVID 19 lockdown.
