Commissioner and Secretary, Social Welfare Department & Administrator, NSSWB, Sarah R. Ritse inaugurated the Sakhi-One Stop Center Tuensang in the presence DC Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant, and others on 18th February 2022.

Sarah appreciated the district administration for the successful completion of the OSC buildings in the districts. Handing over the construction of OSC buildings in the districts to the district administration was decisive which helped in implementing the projects successfully, she added.

She encouraged the gathering that the OSC facility does not belong to social welfare alone but is a collective property to the stakeholders involved in helping 'women in distress' irrespective of departments. The coming up of OSC will play a pivotal role in facilitating the much-needed services to the concerned section of society. She also advised the people of Tuensang to cooperate with the district administration and OSC so that the district will function at its best which will benefit the people of the district.

State Resource Center for women also delivered a short speech of appreciation for the collective effort of the district administration and the concerned department for successfully materializing the dream of OSC to reality in Tuensang.

DC Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant gave the welcome address while the program was chaired by Centre Administrator Sakhi-OSC Tuensang, Chulongla, and the dedication of the OSC building was done by Rev. Achu Executive Secretary CBLT.
