Seized drugs, narcotics, and psychotropic/ control substances seized under NDPS Act, which were produced before the court Phek, were destroyed at Phek Town Council dumping site on 24th June 2022 in the presence of Judicial Magistrate First Class Phek, representatives from District Administration, Police, APP Court Phek, D.B, and PI Staff.

The seized quantity of contraband worth around Rupees two crore and eighty lakh was destroyed. A short briefing was delivered by District Session Judge, Mezivolu T. Therieh, NJS at the site, and said coinciding with the International Drug Abuse Day the programme for preventive measures was held.
