Investing in sports is akin to directing youths toward nation-building. In continuation to Perception Management Activities, Shamator Battalion assisted in organizing a friendly volleyball tournament w.e.f 29-30 January 2023 in ITC Dan Village with the participation of local youths, aged between 15 to 20 years of Assam Rifles, IRB, ITC Dan, Upper Dan, Old Pangsha, New Pangsha Villages. A total of 07 teams participated from these villages. 

The organizers were assisted with Administrative Support along with essential sports items. This initiative of Shamator Battalion, inculcating constructive thinking, positive attitude, and willingness towards strong Nation Building in the local youths were very well appreciated by the local populace; who due to their remoteness, lack the necessary platform and exposure.

The event started with a speech by The Coy Cdr ITC Dan COB, 14 Assam Rifles. In which he briefed the youth about the importance of sports in life. Old Pangsha Team was the winner of the Tournament.
