On 24 December 2022, Shamatore Battalion Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) / 7 Sector AR on eve of Christmas organized a Mini Carnival for children and distributed gifts to the underprivileged children at Dan, Pangsha, and New Pangsha Village. The Team from Company Operating Base Dan has made a relentless endeavor to assist and provide for poverty-stricken villagers in the Area of Responsibility of Dan Company Operating Base, In the efforts, they were able to reach out to a few underprivileged children and organized a Mini Carnival; having fun activities like 50m race, Cock fight, Jalebi race, Sack Race & Volleyball, to spread warmth and smiles across on Christmas Eve.

The initiative and commitment of the Assam Rifles were highly appreciated by the proprietors who expressed their heartfelt gratitude and thankfulness to the Battalion for their kind gesture.
