MLA, Thongwang Konyak inaugurated Soil testing lab in the presence of DC Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS on 2nd February 2022 at the District Soil Conservation Office, Mon. 

Thongwang appreciated the Department for implementing the much needed project in the District. He stated that the project would greatly benefit agriculture in the District. 

The inaugural programme also witnessed the launching of block level soil testing equipments. The programme was chaired by SDO (SC) Aboi, W. Shoyan Konyak. A dedicatory prayer was pronounced by District Chaplain Mon, Rev. Ashok Konyak while the vote of thanks was delivered by DSCO, Mon, Chumei Yanlem.
