SP Kohima,  Kevithuto Sophie NPS flagged off Fit India Freedom Run organised by the Kohima Smart City in collaboration with the Kohima Municipal Council supported by the Bharat Scouts and Guides on 1st October 2020. The rally started at 7:00 AM from PHQ junction and culminated at Local ground Kohima including 20 cyclist, citizens from all 19 wards and scouts and guides participated in the rally. 

Fit India freedom run under the aegis of Fit India Movement organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports is a nation-wide campaign which was commenced from 15th August 2020 to promote a culture of fitness in the country which is also coinciding with the closure of commemoration of 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on 2nd October 2020.
