The Special Handloom Expo, Sekrenyi, NERTPS organised by Directorate of Industries & Commerce, Government of Nagaland and funded by DC (Handloom) Ministry of Textiles, Government of India was inaugurated by the DC, Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan at Urban Haat on 15th February, 2021.

            Altogether, 30 stalls have been put up for showcasing rich collection of handloom products of different Tribes. General Manager, District Industries Centre, P. Tokugha Achumi delivering the welcome address stated that the 14-day expo is being organised with an objective to generate employment, to help weavers to showcase their products and to generate revenue. The inaugural programme was attended by officials of NIDC, Weavers Service Centre Dimapur and department officials.
