STATE GENERAL OBSERVERS AND POLICE OBSERVERS ATTEND MEETING FOR THE FORTHCOMING GENERAL ELECTIONS  

A ‘briefing meeting’ through video conferencing was organised on 14th January, 2022 by the Election Commission of India for General Observers and Police Observers to be deployed for the forthcoming General Elections to the Legislative Assembly of five States- Goa, Manipur, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Officers from Nagaland cadre to be deployed as General Observers (IAS officers), and Police Observers duty (IPS officers) also attended the video conference organised by the Election Commission of India at Chief Electoral Officer Office, Nagaland and also through remote access.

            The officers of Nagaland Cadre who attended the video conference are as follows:

 Wezope Kenye, IAS; Athel O. Lotha, IAS; Mohammed Ali Shihab A, IAS; K. Libanthung Lotha, IAS; K.S. Anden Konyak, IAS;  Kevisa Kense, IAS;   Kenilo Apon, IAS;  Anoop Khinchi, IAS;  Jyoti Kalash, IAS;  Sachin Jaiswal, IAS; Lhouchalie Viya, IAS; Sarita Yadav, IAS; Jasbir Singh, IPS; Rajashekara N, IPS; Sonia Singh, IPS; Roopa M, IPS and Vikas Katheria, IPS.

            Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland, V. Shashank Shekhar, IAS and Additional CEO Nagaland, N. Moa   Aier also attended the meeting.
