         Advisor Urban Development & Municipal Affairs, Dr. Neikiesalie Nicky Kire inaugurated the street vendors market cum extension of community hall at lower forest colony, Kohima on 31st March 2022.

Dr. Nicky in his short speech called upon the colony people to continue extending their cooperation and urged them to take good care of the asset to benefit them.

Forest Colony Union Chairman, Peter K. Rengma presented a brief technical report on the construction. The street vendors market was constructed by Urban Department through State Urban Development Agency under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana National Livelihood Mission.

Director Urban & State Mission Director for National Urban Livelihood Mission, Takatuba Aier urged the people to take care of the property to serve the public in the best way.

Earlier, Joint Secretary FCU, Hormila Zenei-o offered the dedicatory prayer while Vice Chairman FCU Tevi Chüsi delivered the vote of thanks. The program was chaired by Vice-Chairman Nzinimo Lotha and Mewibogei Forest Women Prayer Fellowship Chairperson Viliho Levi proposed the benediction.
