The academic support for Matric Exam students 2021 of Government High School, Tening and Nsong under the flagship of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) scheme led by Extra Assistant Commissioner (EAC), Tumben P. Tsanglao of Block Task Force, Tening was held on 11th and 12th February.

            Tumben P. Tsanglao asked the young students to work hard with determination and urged the students to maintain daily routine for the forthcoming High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examinations 2021. The academic support scheme includes a set of stationery along with rations and cash incentives for teachers who gave special coaching to the students, he added. The EAC expressed gratitude to the teachers for their dedication and sacrifices for the students despite the limited facilities.

            As the Government High School, Nsong does not have a hostel, the teachers are managing makeshift hostel in the unused classrooms under the supervision of teaching staffs.
