SWACHATA CUM YOGA PROGRAM CONDUCTED AT JCC

The National Service Scheme (NSS) cell and Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) with support from the Department of Youth Resources and Sports, Government of Nagaland in collaboration with Japfü Christian College organized Swachata cum Yoga day countdown at the indoor stadium, JCC Kigwema on 14th May 2022. 

Resource person, Kelhouzasie Lawrence, Yoga Instructor AYUSH Mission, briefed that the International Day of Yoga is celebrated annually on 21st June since 2015. He said Yoga is a physical, mental, and spiritual practice. People of all age groups and religions can celebrate the programme, he said. 

The program observed activity on common Yoga protocol practice as part of countdown/Curtain raiser apart from the observance of International Day of Yoga on 21st June 2022.

Eight institutions namely, Japfü Christian College, St. Joseph's College, Little Flower Hr. Sec. School, Kros College, Capital College of Higher education, and Kohima Science College participated in the event.
